Meet your favourite African NBA players storming South Africa to play against a World Team

Set to be played in Pretoria next month, the NBA Africa Game is going to feature notable NBA superstars with African heritage playing against a select World Team.

Also coinciding with Nelson Mandela’s centenary birthday celebrations, the proceeds from the game are going to be used to support the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

Below are the NBA players representing Team Africa:

  • Harrison Barnes (Dallas Mavericks, U.S.A)
  • Dennis Smith Jr. (Dallas Mavericks, U.S.A)
  • Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks, U.S.A)
  • John Collins (Atlanta Hawks, U.S.A)

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as NBA Global Ambassador Dikembe Mutombo, will also be in attendance.
